Bebo Norman was on the show this morning as a Co-Host in Charlie's absence...  He did a great job, probably because you can't help but like this guy... He might be one of the most likable guys I've ever met.

iPod update...

well the 20gig hard drive I was bidding on went up to $84.00!!!  I didn't want to pay that much, so I'm still with out an iPod...  This is VERY upseting... I've been listening to Podcast on my laptop while driving to work...  it works but I can't operate it while I'm driving....  I guess I'm either going to have to pay $70+ on getting my iPod fixed or just buy a new one...  

HEROIC MEASURES

well, my beloved friend has taken very ill... I have decided to take heroic measures to bring it back to life...  
Late last week my iPod froze while syncing.  I've had this happen before so I wasn't all that worried.  But after running through "the 5 R's" several times...  And a trip to the Apple Store to talk it over with a genus...  I decided to do what any other engineer type would do... crack it open and try to fix it myself...  I've bided on a hard drive on ebay...  I'll keep you updated....

Mixing...

well I've had protools for about two weeks now...  I LOVE IT...  This isn't the first time I worked in ProTools for long periods of time, but it is the first time I've used it on a completely adequate computer (Dual 1.8 G5 2GIGs of RAM).  And with the new M-Audio ProjectMix.  I've completed one Ani DeFranco mixdown, and I'm half way through the Encounter mixdown (worship concert at my church).  I'd forgotten how much I love to mix in post-production....  I need to find a way to do this all day, everyday...
