GET A FLICKR ACCOUNT
If you have been coming to my blog for a while, but you haven't seen choice pics like the ones here, you are missing out... click on the white box with the pictures moving around on it (to the left of the screen near the top). This is my flickr account... and all of you should get one too. If you have pictures stored on your computer, you should have a flicker account. It's a great place to keep all you pictures!!! You organize them in many ways, you can order prints, you can share pictures with others...it's great!!! If you sign up for an account you can post comments on my pictures... I'd love to know what you think...

We had Point of Grace on the show this morning... here's a pic. They were very nice and very talented singers...

Ricky Skaggs is a living legend, it was an honor to get to work with him
"Hello!!! Mcfly!!!!!"
WOW!!!! Biff from "Back To The Future" was on the show today.... Oh how I wish I still had my Voltear skateboard for him to sign...... If you can catch him at a comedy club, do it!!! He does a song about how he doesn't hang out with Michael J. Fox anymore, it was hilarious!!!!

Sunday night.... and as promised here is my week in review.
I haven't had a day off in two weeks... I'm VERY tired. Last Sunday I was in awe of how good I felt, this Sunday is the exact opposite. Don't get me wrong... I got ALOT accomplished this week. All of it was stuff that needed to be done. However, I'm starting to get sick, I feel very discounted with my wife, and my attitude is horrible. I can attribute most of this to lack of rest. Every week I need to realize that if I work too much I will get sick, lose touch with Tasha, and be very frustrated by everything. Humans need rest. What's hard is saying no to very good things. Usually these things are things that need to be done, and saying yes to a few of them would be fine but you'll never run out of good things to do. The only problem is, looking back over my week, I'm not sure what I should've said no to. That is my problem.

SURPRIZE!!!!
We had a surprize birthday party for one of my closest friends tonight. Allen is the worship pastor at our church. We all pitched in and got him a new 60 gig iPod with video
Sorry, no pics this morning.... we aren't having a musical guest on the show today.... I would like to say thanks to everyone for being so supportive of my blog, some have stated thier own blogs, many are thinking about starting their own blogs...
Some of you have asked, why start a blog... Well, many reasons.. One was that my Dad got me a digital camera for my birthday (8/20) and I wanted a way to show all my favorite pics to all my friends. Also, I wanted a place where I keep everyone updated on what is going on in my life, but the biggest reason was this: We learn from our past, good and bad. I wanted a place where I could keep track of my past. I'm not saying that this blog is going to be a big downer but I will be telling you guys about the hi's and low's of my life. I'm thinking that I will do a "week in review" on Sunday evenings. So stay tuned. My weekend is going to be very eventful, I'll have alot to post on Sunday, I might even give you some updates throughout the weekend...

Today was the second time I had the opportunity to work with Andy Griggs, he is funny, and a pleasure to be around. And not a bad singer either......
It is finished.
This is our FOH(Front Of House) snake. David and I put the final touches on it last night(10:30pm). What's a FOH snake? Well it's a bunch of cables that we built, that hook up a rack of audio gear to a sound board. It's also alot of work! We will be installing it this Saturday at Blackman High School(where our church meets). There's nothing like late nights listening to loud music, with the fumes of solder and heat shrink swarming around. To the left is a pic of the snake, below is a pic of the work bench in David's garage. Soon we will move our work area out to David's detached garage, and it will become the "ROCC Research & Design Shop". More pics on the way......

Wow!!! Alot of people got back in touch with me!! It was good to hear from all of you... Some people just said hi some had suggestions, thank you all very much for responding...

BTW: Scott pointed out that you had to be a member to comment on a story, this was not my intention, and I fixed the problem...

Confession is good for the soul.......
As one of my friends Del, pointed out, I misspelled college in my email. For those of you that are close to me you find this VERY funny, because you know that I misspell stuff ALL THE TIME. Yes my computer has spell check, Yes I know how to spell college, but I get to typing fast and I think I have spelled stuff correctly, only to find that spell check hasn't caught it because maybe I spelled "some" word right, but not the "right" word right. Most things that I write that other people are going to read, go through some other eyes before they make it to the reader, however, this blog will not. So feel free to make fun or join in by misspelling the same word in your comment.... what ever you need to do.... I won't get my feelings hurt. Thanks again Del for pointing out my mistake. Here's a picture of Del and his dog on Halloween....
Me and Nashville resident Bo Bice
What a guy.... Humble and talented, which isn't always the norm in the music biz, Bo was very impressive personally and musically for 7:30 am or any other time of the day.

Just an observation, but it's 7pm on Sunday and I'm not exhausted.
normally by now I can barely hold my eyes open as I try to pass the time between sound check and my show at 3rd & Lindsley. Something is different this week and it's not the amount of work I've done, it's the amount of sleep I've had. This might be boring reading to my Blog readers but I need to write this down so I don't forget it.... Let's start with one week ago.. Here was schedule:(I'll spare you all the stuff I did during the day and just put down when I went to bed and when I had to get up)
Sunday: 4:30am - alarm 11:00pm - in bed
Monday: 6:45am - woke 9:30pm - in bed
Tuesday: 4:00am - alarm 6:45pm - in bed
Wednesday: 4:00am - alarm 6:30pm - in bed
Thursday: 4:00am - alarm 7:00pm - in bed
Friday: 3:45am - woke(before alarm!!!) 9:30pm - in bed
Saturday: 6:45am - woke(before alarm!!!) 6:30 - in bed
Sunday: 4:30am - woke(before alarm!!!)
Now just because I got "in bed" doesn't mean I went to sleep that early.. but waking up FULLY rested on Friday morning is GREAT....
Tonight I won't get in bed till 11:00pm and then back at 4:00am for Bo Bice(!) on my morning show, but at least I'm not going into it completely exhausted. I'll post a pic of me and Bo tomorrow morning....
